Massage works on many levels, having both physical and psychological benefits.

I combine a wide range of techniques including Soft Tissue Therapy, Hawaiian Lomi Lomi, Thai table massage, Hot basalt and Himalayan salt stones and Lymphatic drainage.

Soft Tissue Therapy works the soft tissues (muscles / tendons / ligaments). Combined with regular massage strokes, I also use specific techniques such as Soft Tissue Release (STR), Neuromuscular Technique (NMT), Muscle Energy Technique (MET), and Myofascial Release (MFR).

Lomi Lomi is a deep restoritive massage using forearms, palms and elbows to “communicate down to the bones” moving energy and promoting relaxation and healing. Hot and cold stones and bamboo sticks can also be used to enhance the treatment. I am privaliged to have been trained by the Hawaian Kahquna (healer) Dr. Maka’ala Yates.

Thai Table massage uses the traditional Thai massage techniques of passive stretching, joint mobilisation, kneading and palming along the Sen lines and acupressure points. This massage can be given as a stand alone treatment with the client clothed and on the massage table or incorporated into other massages before the oil is applied.

The Far-infrared Mineral Therapy heat treatment is recommended for relief of muscular pain, arthritis, bursitis, tennis elbow and joint pains and compliments soft tissue massage.

A choice of a relaxing, energising or balancing massage is created using my beautiful blends of organic botanical oils.

INDIAN HEAD and face MASSAGE

Based on the ancient Ayurvedic healing system, the shoulders, scalp and face are massaged to release the tension commonly held in these areas. As well as stimulating hair growth and promoting mental alertness, Indian head massage can help with stress, headaches, insomnia, sinusitis and eye strain. Indian facial rejuvenation massage works on the structure of the facial skin and the underlying muscles to relieve tension, smooth away lines, increase elasticity and a healthy glow.

The ‘Lucent Lift Facial’ is the ultimate relaxing and holistic treatment delivering real results using the most advanced facial massage techniques and non-invasive skincare technology.

Multiple methods including Buccal/intra oral massage, facial sculpting, lymphatic drainage, Indian face lift massage, ultrasonic deep cleansing, connective tissue release; LED light therapy and micro current are chosen to create the most effective care and incredibly younger looking skin.

Buccal /intra oral massage.

Buccal massage/intra oral massage allows me to work on the facial muscles and ligaments from inside the mouth to stimulate lymph flow and sculp and lift the muscles. Massaging the deeper tissues reduces tension in the jaw from clenching and teeth grinding resulting with better blood flow and a more relaxed contoured appearance.

Ultrasonic deep cleansing

A gentle but effective deep cleansing action of the skin's pores, ultrasonic waves perform an exfoliating action via gentle vibrational peeling. This facilitates optimum absorption of high concentrate anti ageing masques, oils, and serums.

Micro current

Micro-current technology boosts the local circulation of the skin and stimulates the cellular renewal processes thereby improving skin firmness and restoring muscle tone.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage for the face works to get rid of excess fluid, reducing bags under the eyes, making them clearer and leaving the skin with an inner glow.

This reparative facial concentrates on light lymphatic massage to refine facial contours and detoxify the skin. The repetitive movements can change the consistency of the connective tissue deep in the skin. The temporary change helps drain metabolic waste and fluid. This facial gives many curative benefits and can be used pre and post op to aid healing.

DERMAPLANE FACIAL

A deep manual exfoliation using a custom dermaplaning blade. This facial removes ‘peach fuzz’ facial hair, lifts off up to 21 days build up of dead skin cells, softens fine lines and fades pigmentation. Active skin care is more readily absorbed and moisturisers and make up glide on. For the smoothest most radiant skin you’ve ever had!
